Ambiente Sensível: Presentation
Ambiente Sensível investigates the relations between sound, space and receptor through the creation of an audible ecosystem, where these three elements are active and interconnected - like a rhizome. The result is an audible trace of this interaction, open and indeterminate. Such characteristic refers to the present time scale, territory of sensation and experimentation, and reinserts the body in the listening act, turning it active and creative. The installation occurs in an acousmatic space to prioritize the hearing, and technically it is composed by a microphone, photoresistors, piezoelectric and ultrasonic distance sensors, connected via Arduino to Pure Data - the brain of the system.
